Goodbye gay Paree, hello beery Brussels

Our gracious hosts have left the country by the time we get out of bed and we are left in charge of the luxury apartment. We wander down the rue and bag a baguette and crack a croissant for brekkie-if only they were able to make coffee, what a great country this has a potential to be.

We Uber to the train station and are immediately surrounded by crowds of Urotrash. The Uros dont believe in letting anyone know what platform one's train is departing from until about 30 seconds before it leaves.

Anyway the trip is quite short and we arrive safely in Bruxelles, famous for beer, chips, chocolate and mussels.

I have made a booking at the famous Brussel Sprout Restaurant-thank God it is an easy 5km uphill walk from our hotel. I indulge in an obscenely large serving of mussels washed down with one of the 2000 varieties of Belgium beer.
